Important! Creating Terms is the responsibility of the Coordinating Creator (Project Owner). Co-Creators are encouraged to communicate with the Coordinating Creator regarding any amendments they would like considered.

Creating Collaboration Agreement Terms

Once the coordinating creator has shortlisted ideal co-creators for all project roles required, the collaboration agreement terms can be created and sent to all co-creators.

To create terms:

Step 1: Initiate the Collaboration Agreement Terms

- Projects Requiring 1 Co-Creator

Navigate to Bliss Studio > select desired project > from the 'Requests' column, select desired creator > Create Terms.

- Projects Requiring 2 or more Co-Creators

Navigate to Bliss Studio > select desired project > from the 'Shortlist' column, select desired creator > Create Terms.

See article Shortlisting Creators for more information on the selection process.

Step 2: Review and Finalize Collaboration Details

Review all project details confirming or amending details throughout each step of the collaboration project.

Note: Ensure any negotiations discussed and agreed upon are reflected in the project during this stage.

Step 3: Review and Send Terms

After confirming all project details, review the collaboration agreement overview, then confirm by clicking Send Terms.

As the coordinating creator you are also required to sign and agree to the Collaboration Terms and 'Consent to Recording and Publication of Co-Created Content' form for the project. Once you have signed your consent, Collaboration Agreement Terms are automatically sent to all project co-creators for their consent and signature.

Step 5: Terms Sent to Co-Creators

Once you have signed your consent, Collaboration Agreement Terms are automatically forwarded to all project co-creators for their consent and signature.

Note: Unanimous consent to the Collaboration Agreement Terms is required to progress to the next stage.

Step 6: Monitor Co-Creator Acceptance of Collaboration Agreement Terms

Ensure all co-creators have consented to and signed the collaboration agreement terms to proceed to the ideation stage of the projects process.

Note: If amendments need to be made see Editing Collaboration Agreement Terms or Withdrawing Terms articles.

Step 6: Open shared Ideation Workspace

Once all co-creators have consented to and signed the Collaboration Agreement Terms the coordinating creator can now select Start Collab to open up the shared ideation workspace for all creators involved in the project to plan, visualize, and organize the project details ready for production.

Best Practice Negotiations Guide

This guide will suggest best practices for navigating the collaboration agreement process to facilitate a mutually beneficial outcome for all co-creators involved.

Open and Honest Communication: Foster open and honest communication with all co- creators throughout the negotiation process.

Fair and Equitable Compensation: Negotiate fair and equitable revenue splits that reflect each creator's contributions and value.

Respectful Negotiation: Approach negotiations with respect and professionalism throughout the negotiation process, valuing the input and perspectives of all co-creators.

Mutual Benefit: Aim for agreement terms that are mutually beneficial for all co-creators, ensuring fair compensation and equitable distribution of responsibilities.

Flexibility and Compromise: Be willing to be flexible and find common ground to reach an agreement that satisfies all parties.

Seek Clarification: Don't hesitate to ask questions and seek clarification on any terms or responsibilities that are unclear.

Build Strong Relationships: Foster positive and collaborative relationships with your co-creators throughout the negotiation and project lifecycle.

By incorporating these best practices, you can facilitate collaborative agreements that are fair, equitable, and beneficial for all parties involved.
