Understanding Collaboration
What is a collaboration on Miss Bliss?
A collaboration is a project where two or more creators co-create content together. This could involve co-creating videos, or producing other forms of media. Maximum project allowance is five (5), 4 co-creators + coordinating creating.
How do I find co-creators to collaborate with?
You can find co-creators through the platform's built-in collab search and discovery tools. Simply navigate to the Collab section, where you can express interest in available projects. Additionally, you can also message or follow like-minded creators through the Discover section.
What makes Miss Bliss different to other collaboration platforms?
Miss Bliss sets itself apart with its innovative Bliss Studio, a groundbreaking collaboration tool. This exclusive feature empowers creators to take charge of their careers, monetize their content, and connect with other like-minded creators. By streamlining the creative process and providing a comprehensive suite of tools, Bliss Studio offers a unique and unparalleled experience.
Collaboration Agreements
Is the Collaboration Agreement a contract between me and my co-creators?
The Collaboration Agreement outlines the framework for collaborative projects on Miss Bliss, ensuring mutual understanding and clear expectations. While specific terms can be negotiated between creators, the formal agreement between each creator and Miss Bliss covers essential elements such as the publish period, revenue sharing, and minimum PPV pricing.
How do we agree on the terms of a collaboration?
It's recommended that you and your co-creators discuss and mutually agree on the terms of the collaboration, specifically Pay-Per-View, revenue split percentage, and publish period. However, it is equally important to display open and respectful communication, establish clear roles & responsibilities, and a shared vision to ensure a smooth and successful collaboration.
What happens if a Co-Creator leaves the platform?
If a co-creator terminates their Miss Bliss account (or if it's terminated by us), any published collaboration content will remain active on the platform as per the collaboration agreement. However, their title, rights and revenue share will be forfeited, with their revenue share being vested exclusively in Miss Bliss. The remaining co-creators may still continue to receive their agreed revenue split for the duration outlined in the collaboration agreement. For more information, please see our Terms of Use.
My Co-Creator has taken down our co-created content. What happens now?
If a co-creator removes co-created content but still maintains an active Miss Bliss account, their share of the revenue remains unaffected. The remaining co-creators can continue to publish the content on their own accounts and earn according to the original collaboration agreement. Upon the publish period expiration date, the content will dissolve from the platform.
Collaboration Projects
How do I create a Collaboration Project?
To create a new project, simply click the + Project ( or + for mobile) button from your Bliss Studio dashboard. Select Collaboration and follow the on screen prompts.
What if I don’t want my project visible to all creators?
If you are on the Professional Membership tier, you can set your project to "Private," allowing you to invite specific creators directly and bypass creator exposure or an excessive inundation of collaboration requests.
How do I make my Project “Private”?
To make your collaboration project private, create a project as usual. Before posting, toggle the project to "Private." This ensures it's hidden from the creator timeline, allowing you to invite* specific co-creators directly.
* See How to Invite a Co-Creator to a Project for detailed instructions.
How does the publish period work?
The publish period allows co-creators to set a mutually agreed timeframe for their content to remain published on the platform. Miss Bliss requires content to stay published for a minimum of 12 months. After the initial publish period expires the content is removed from the timeline. Co-creators can choose to re-publish the content but only with unanimous consent.
How do I review and select a co-creator for my collaboration?
In Bliss Studio, open your project and check the Requests column to see interested co-creators. Click on a request to view their information and profile. You can also invite a co-creator from the "Discover" tab. Once reviewed, shortlist the best fit and finalize by sending the Project Terms.
Where are my Collaborations?
You can find all your projects in your Bliss Studio. They are organized into three categories: Current, Potential, and Draft projects. Utilize the filter option to view personal or collaboration projects.
- Draft Projects: Projects you’ve started working on but haven’t finalized or posted yet.
- Potential Projects: Collaborations that are not yet finalized, in the 'Collaboration' or 'Agreement' stage.
Current Projects: Personal or Collaboration projects with agreed-upon terms, either the 'Ideation' or 'Publish' stage.
Can Co-Creators edit my project?
The Coordinating Creator initially retains editing rights to maintain project direction. Any suggested changes should be discussed directly with the Coordinating Creator to reach a mutual agreement. Once finalized, all co-creators will be granted access to the project workspace in Bliss Studio for seamless collaboration.
How do I ensure ethical and legal compliance in my collaborations?
Always prioritize ethical, consensual, and legal considerations, such as consent, privacy, and copyright. It is strictly prohibited to create content that is harmful, illegal, non-consensual, or depicts children. For a full list of prohibited content please read our Terms of Use.
